- קֶפֶשׂm. (preced.) plait, gathering stitch, a kind of border. Y.M. Kat. III, 83d הסולם והק׳ איןוכ׳ the borders formed by chain stitches or by plaiting are no hindrance (for the rending of the garment in mourning), v. סוּלָּם.
